An inquiry has been launched after the body of a man who had been stabbed to death was discovered on Wednesday inside of Washington Square Park.
At approximately 6:25 p.m., police were called to the location, where they discovered a 35-year-old man who had been stabbed in the chest.
The victim was transported by EMS to the Lenox Hill Healthplex in Greenwich Village, where it was determined that he had passed away.
To this day, there has been no one taken into custody. The investigation is still going on at this time.
