Accident on I-40 leaves three dead, three injured

An accident that occurred on Monday on the eastbound I-40 in London left three persons dead and three others injured. The police are currently investigating the incident.

A report from the Arkansas State Police indicates that a woman named Taylor Brannin, who was 28 years old at the time, was operating a car that was travelling eastbound on Interstate 40 around the 75-mile marker when she veered from the left lane towards the right, and went off the right side of the road.

After that, there was a direct impact with a tree from the automobile. As a result of the collision, Brannin and two of the passengers who were juveniles both perished, while three other passengers who were also minors were injured. According to the reports, the weather conditions were clear, and there was no rain or moisture on the roads.

The victims who were injured in the incident have been sent to St. Mary’s Regional Health & Arkansas Children’s Hospital, where it is currently unknown what their statuses are. The deceased individuals have been sent to the Pope County Coroner’s Office for further examination.
