2 teens killed, 2 injured in Shiawassee County car crash

The vehicle’s 16-year-old driver was unable to maintain control of the vehicle, and it crashed into a ditch before catching fire. As a direct consequence of this, two young people from Laingsburg were taken their lives, and two others sustained injuries.

An automobile was involved in a collision with a tree in the 8700 block of Colby Lake Road in Sciota Township on Tuesday evening at 10 o’clock. The neighborhood is commonly referred to as the “Tree Crash.”

The fact that a passenger who was 16 years old and another passenger who was 15 years old were sent to a local hospital for treatment has been verified by the Michigan State Police.

According to Karen Schneeberger, her son Keegan Schneeberger, who was 13 years old at the time of the tragedy, was one of two young people who passed away as a result of the incident.

Ethan Schneeberger, her second kid, was treated for his minor injuries at the hospital and then discharged after he had been there for a while. He will be 15 years old this year.

In addition, the young driver of the car, who was just 16 years old at the time of the collision, did not survive the injuries she incurred.
